Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment in a safe manner
- Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary to maintain a clean and safe work area
- Notify supervisory personnel if a nonconforming condition is disclosed
- Perform tool proofing of first run jobs and give feedback to programming to ensure run efficiency and accuracy
- Set controls of feed, speed, and depth of cut without supervision
Required profile
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have a training school background plus 3 to 5 years in a prototype machine shop using manual machines, or 5 to 10 years in a prototype machine…
- Experience setting up and operating a 3- to 5-axis VMC
- Experience with Mastercam, SolidCAM, or similar CAM software
