MakeYouFirst is a job application assistant published by Global Digital Agency (GDA). It helps you find job offers, tailor a CV and cover letter to each offer, find the recruiter’s contact address and send the application from your own mailbox.
MakeYouFirst also offers a recruiter space (free job ads and applications), Enterprise Mode (the team’s paid workspace), “Projects & leads” (answers to calls for tenders) and, once it opens, a freelance missions marketplace. A feature presented as “coming soon” is not owed until it is open.
You provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. An account is personal. Two-factor authentication is available and recommended.
Documents are prepared by artificial intelligence from your profile only: it must not invent anything, but you remain responsible for what you send. Review every application before approving it. No application is sent without your confirmation, unless you switch on the Pro plan’s Autopilot yourself, within the limits shown (emails per day, anti-spam limits).
The Free plan grants credits every week; they do not roll over. The Pro subscription is monthly, paid by card through Stripe, with no commitment: it can be cancelled online at any time, effective at the end of the current period (see section 5). The Free plan also includes a one-time welcome bonus per account (up to 200 credits), covering the getting-started steps, sharing MakeYouFirst (20 credits the first time you share your referral link, on any network) and referrals (30 credits per friend who signs up with your referral link and confirms their email address, up to 2 friends); credits already earned under a previous scheme are kept, within the same 200-credit limit; self-referrals and multiple accounts are not rewarded. Credit top-ups are one-off card payments through Stripe, capped at €10 per week; top-up credits do not expire as long as the account exists and do not unlock Pro benefits. Prices in euros, VAT not applicable (French tax code, art. 293 B). Quotas and limits may change; any price change is announced in advance.
Prices. Pass Pro: €9.90 per month, renewed automatically every month until cancelled. Top-ups: €5 for 100 credits and €10 for 250 credits, as one-off payments. Prices in euros, all taxes included, VAT not applicable (French tax code, art. 293 B). Payment is made by card on Stripe’s secure page.
Immediate access and waiver of the right of withdrawal. The Pass Pro and top-up credits are digital content and services supplied as soon as payment is made. Before paying, you tick a box by which you expressly request their immediate performance and expressly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)). Payment is not possible without ticking this box. Your consent (date, product, version of these terms) is recorded and confirmed to you in a summary email sent after payment, which you should keep.
No refunds. Consequently, no full or partial refund is made once payment has been made. The Pass Pro has no commitment: you can cancel it at any time from “Credits & Pro”; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period, Pro stays active until then and no pro-rata refund is made. Top-up credits are not refundable, not transferable to another account and not exchangeable for cash; they remain usable as long as the account exists. These rules do not affect the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services provided by the French Consumer Code.
You may not use MakeYouFirst to send bulk unsolicited messages, impersonate anyone, circumvent third-party websites’ terms or harm the service. MakeYouFirst never opens LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook or Instagram on your behalf: use email alerts, the “➜ MakeYouFirst” button or a screenshot.
The offers shown come from public sources and remain the property of their authors. MakeYouFirst does not guarantee their accuracy or availability: check them on the original site.
The service is provided “as is”. GDA may suspend an account in case of abuse or breach of these terms. You can delete your account at any time from “My account”.
How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy. These terms are governed by French law.
Companies can open a recruiter space (publishing ads and receiving applications are free) to publish job ads and receive applications. The recruiter guarantees that its company profile and ads are accurate (real position, compliant with employment law, non-discriminatory). The SIREN number is checked against the official French company directory (recherche-entreprises.api.gouv.fr): only verified companies carry the “Verified company” badge; companies outside France are shown as unverified. Ads published on MakeYouFirst are visible first to Pro Pass subscribers for 48 hours, then to everyone. AI only pre-fills the ad from the text provided: the recruiter reviews and publishes it, and MakeYouFirst makes no automated decision about candidates. Candidate data received may only be used for the recruitment concerned. GDA may remove a misleading or unlawful ad. “Enterprise Mode” (collaborative workspace: team, channels, projects, meetings) is a monthly subscription of €129 incl. tax including 15 members, then €9.90 incl. tax per additional member per month, paid by card via Stripe, with no commitment and cancellable from the customer portal, effective at the end of the current period; additional seats are prorated to the number of members; invited members and freelancers pay nothing; only a company (verified SIREN, or a foreign company) can subscribe. VAT not applicable (art. 293 B of the French Tax Code).
After an application, a match or within a team, users exchange messages in “Messages”. Everyone remains responsible for their own messages and attachments; the rules of section 6 apply (no abusive, unlawful or discriminatory messages). Interviews proposed by a recruiter take place on MYF Visio, the built-in video call: image and sound travel directly between the participants’ browsers; MakeYouFirst does not record them and only connects the participants and manages the appointment (calendar invitations). The stages of an application (shortlist, interview, offer, hire, rejection) are decided by the recruiter, never automatically, and the candidate is informed.
“Your matches” suggests offers based on a relevance score calculated from your profile and criteria: it is a sorting aid, not a decision. You can choose to be visible to recruiters (off by default, consent can be withdrawn at any time): they then see a profile without your name or contact details, which are shared only after mutual interest (a “match”), which opens a conversation between you.
“Projects & leads” helps a freelancer or an agency answer a call for tenders or a specification: the proposal (method statement, schedule, team, references, budget) is prepared by the AI from your provider profile and portfolio only, then sent from your own mailbox after your confirmation, like an application (sections 3 and 6). You alone are responsible for the commitments (prices, deadlines, references) made in your proposals.
Role of MakeYouFirst. The marketplace connects companies (clients) with independent freelancers. GDA acts as an online platform operator: it is not a party to the service contract between the client and the freelancer, who freely set its content, price and deadlines. The freelancer works independently and remains responsible for their status, tax and social security returns and the compliance of their services. Profiles and missions are ranked by relevance (skills, availability, location, reviews); no ranking is paid for.
Payment and escrow. The client pays each order (or each milestone) by card via Stripe. The funds remain blocked on the platform’s payment account until the client approves the deliverable, or until it is approved automatically 7 days after delivery if the client does not respond; they are then transferred to the freelancer’s Stripe Connect account, minus the commission. The freelancer has their identity verified by Stripe and provides their legal details before their first payout.
Commissions. As of the date of these terms: freelancer commission of 10% of the service amount, reduced to 5% once the collaboration with the same client has lasted at least 3 months; client service fee of 5% added to the amount, 0% for companies subscribed to Enterprise Mode. The rates in force are shown before each payment, fixed for the order concerned and repeated on receipts and statements. Freelancers pay no subscription.
Tips and reviews. At the end of an order, the client may pay an optional tip, passed on in full to the freelancer (only the Stripe processing fees of that payment are deducted). The client and the freelancer may each leave a review (1 to 5 stars and a comment): a review always relates to an order that actually took place, is revealed only once both reviews are written or after 14 days, and can no longer be edited. GDA may remove an unlawful review or one unrelated to the order.
Disagreements and refunds. While the funds are blocked, the client or the freelancer may report a disagreement about a deliverable: the funds stay blocked while an amicable solution is sought; failing that, GDA reviews the exchanges and deliverables and decides, as the case may be, on payment to the freelancer or a full or partial refund to the client. These mission rules are separate from section 5, which covers the Pass Pro, top-ups and subscriptions.
Tax obligations. In accordance with Directive (EU) 2021/514 (“DAC7”), GDA reports to the tax authorities each year the income earned by freelancers through the marketplace and sends them a summary.
For any complaint, write to the publisher (contact details in the legal notice): we reply within 15 days. If no amicable agreement is reached, consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge (articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), whose details are given in the legal notice once appointed, or refer the matter to the competent court.
