Duties

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and tested code
Drive the expansion of BusPatrol’s suite of Python and Ruby based webservices
Engineer documented, scalable, and secure APIs from deprecated legacy code
Actively seek out knowledge about new technologies and how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges
Work closely with BusPatrol’s product team

Required profile

5+ year of software development and 3+ years of Python development experience
1+ Ruby experience preferred
3+ years of experience with web frameworks (preferred: Rails or Rack, Django)
1+ years of Angular, React, or Vue.js
Demonstrated experience with AWS Services (services preferred: Lambda, SQS, S3)
